Conformity Assessment Promotion Center operates the following activities

• (1) Registration of calibration laboratories based on Japan Calibration Service System (JCSS) based on the Measurement Act 
• (2) Registration of specified measurement laboratories based on Specified Measurement Laboratory Accreditation Program (MLAP) based on Specified Measurement Act
• (3) Registration of testing laboratories under Japan National Laboratory Accreditation system (JNLA) based on the Industrial Standardization Act 
• (4) Assessment of certification bodies for registration based on the Industrial Standardization Act 
• (5) Assessment of certification bodies for registration based on the four Product Safety Acts
