French Mission Team Visited NLAB

On Thursday, 28 November 2024, a delegation of 30 members led by François DECOSTER, Vice-President of the Regional Council of Hauts-de-France, visited the NLAB^※1 at the NITE Osaka Office.

The delegation was introduced to NITE's activities related to the safety testing and evaluation of large-scale battery energy storage systems, and was given a tour of the NLAB^※2 facilities, including the NLAB MIDDLE Chamber^※2 which started operation in October 2024.

During the tour, there were several rounds of questions and answers reflecting the participants’high level of interest　in NITE’s activities. We hope this visit contributes to the development of energy storage systems in both countries.
